Satin Doll by Jocachi

knocks it absolutely out of the park with this interpretation of my City of Heroes scrapper. I just can't say how much this blew me away.

Two things of special note: That rod she's holding is known as a khatvanga and both that and the amulet she wears are supposed to be Hindu artifacts that allow her to wield darkness for a variety of effects. I can't have them in the game but the artist rendered them here beautifully.

Admittedly, Satin Doll is one of my favorite names but probably my least inspired costume. I really wanted to evoke a kind of Golden Age feel for the character (she's actually the second Satin Doll) but the various cape combinations I tried clipped horribly with the long hair I wanted her to have, so I settled into this jacket combo which is probably a little too Black Canary-isque. Once I had her in that costume though, it just worked for me and I couldn't really get it out of my mind. Now with the awesome artwork, I'm not sure I'll ever be able to imagine her any other way. Again, I can't thank Jocachi enough.
